Red Bull put on a flawless performance in 2023, breaking record after record in the most dominate season for any team in F1 history. The collective effort of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez saw the team take home the Constructors’ championship in Japan, while Verstappen in a dominant RB19 claimed a third consecutive World Champion title in Qatar 2 weeks later.

The RB19, designed by Adrian Newey, was in a league of its own, no over team on the grid able to match the consistency and perfection that was the RB19. While the 10% reduction of Wind Tunnel time expected to be a downfall for Red Bull in 2023, as a result of their overspend in 2021, that wasn’t the case for the mighty RB19.
Red Bull opened the season with back-to-back 1-2 finishes, Verstappen leading the team at the season opener in Bahrain, followed by a Perez win in Jeddah. Verstappen took a maiden win at Albert park for the following race, followed by Perez taking his final win of the season, proving that he is in fact the king of street races in Baku, followed by 17 other races this season playing the Dutch and Austrian anthem.

Verstappen equalled Sebastian Vettel’s record of 9-consecutive wins in the Netherlands, before extending the streak by one more in Monza. In Mexico Verstappen continued to break records, this time of his own, as he broke his own record of 15 wins in a season, with a 16th win in Mexico, before ending the season with 3 more wins to end the season.
The only race where neither Bulls were on the podium was in Singapore, where Sainz took the only non-Red Bull victory of 2023 in Singapore, Sainz breaking Verstappen’s 10 race wins streak. Norris and Hamilton taking the final podium places in a thrilling finish to a chaotic final few laps in Singapore.
Verstappen completed every lap in every race this season, the only driver to do so, Verstappen with an 86% dominance, beating Alberto Ascari’s 1952 dominance of 75%. The team with an overall win percentage of 95.4%.
